A little about therapy with me

Therapy with me is a space where we get to slow down, be curious, and understand what’s really going on beneath the surface. I approach this work with warmth, structure, and a collaborative spirit—you're the expert on your life, and I bring tools, perspective, and a deep respect for your process.

I tend to work long-term with clients who are ready to go deeper—exploring the patterns, beliefs, and emotions that shape how you relate to yourself and others. Together, we’ll stay curious, open, and willing to try new things.

I use structure to help guide our work while still allowing room for flexibility and growth. I’m also not afraid to name or explore diagnoses when they help validate your experience—not as labels, but as tools to make sense of things.

Credentials

EMDR Trained

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a therapy that helps your brain heal from difficult or overwhelming experiences.

When something stressful or traumatic happens, the brain can get "stuck," and those memories or feelings may continue to affect you—often in the form of anxiety, self-doubt, or emotional triggers.

EMDR uses gentle back-and-forth stimulation (like eye movements or tapping) while you think about certain memories or feelings. This helps your brain process them in a new, more adaptive way—so they feel less intense and no longer control your present.

You don’t have to share every detail or relive the past. We’ll go at your pace, with care and support.

DBT Informed

DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) helps you manage overwhelming emotions, improve relationships, and feel more balanced.

It teaches practical skills—like mindfulness, emotion regulation, and healthy communication—while helping you accept yourself and create meaningful change.
